Spirit-Led Living
We are Pentecostal people led by the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives to honor Him and bless those around us. (Romans 8:14, 1 Chronicles 12:32b, & Acts 2:4; 6:3-4)
Our local church body began as Buffalo Community Assembly of God in the Buffalo community in 1972. We are currently in our second building since the church began and are excited about what God wants to do in the people and communities surrounding the Buffalo area. In March, 2024 the church voted to change its name officially to Hope Community. We continue to be a church that identifies with the Assemblies of God and many of our leadership is licensed and ordained as ministers within the Assembly of God Fellowship. We are thankful and proud of where we have come from and we are excited for where God is taking us in this next part of our story together!
What you believe matters because it shapes who you are and how you live your life. And we want you to know what we believe as a church:
We are an Assembly of God Church and ascribe to our Pentecostal Doctrine. The Assemblies of God was founded in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas with 300 people at the founding convention. Today there are more than 13,000 churches in the United States with over 3 million members and adherents. There are more than 67 million Assemblies of God members worldwide, making the Assemblies of God the world's largest Pentecostal denomination. At Hope Community, we are passionate about reaching those around us and providing a community of believers where all are welcome to worship alongside us. We want to provide spiritual help to all those who are seeking so that they can be filled to help others find Jesus and His plan for their lives. We are thankful for the Word of God and how it shapes who we are!
